In 2008 a fire destroyed the elevator and shaft in this 5 story historic building, the former Aston Park Hospital. Mark Allison was contacted to design a new elevator, new fire walls, fire rated doors, and to renovate the common areas. This required a code analysis of the existing building. New L.E.D. light fixtures improve the ambience and energy performance of the building.
