37 N. LEXINGTON RENOVATIONS
ASHEVILLE, NC

This building downtown was originally home to an A&P Grocery Store, and later a printing press. Many design studies were made for the new use of the building including a restaurant, a brewery, and a community bazaar. The building was finally renovated to accommodate office space on the upper level and a retail tenant shell on the ground floor. A new egress stair, ramp, new windows, plumbing, skylights, and mechanical systems were installed. A new roofing system with mechanical support was installed. The loading dock was rebuilt and improved in function as a service area. This project was done in collaboration with In Situ Studio.
