REGIONAL CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT CENTER

Regional Childhood Development Center at Haywood Community College - Mark Allison was involved in this project with the firm PBC+L Architecture, who is the architect of record. An excellent place to play and work, the classrooms are aligned along a clerestory lit spine where children can play on rainy or cold days. The building follows the grade, allowing direct access to playgrounds from each classroom. This model childcare center recently was awarded 5 stars.
